Arsenal Women to Play Home Games at Emirates Stadium

Stadium to Host Six League Matches and Domestic Cup Ties

Improved Facilities and Capacity Will Boost Fan Experience

Arsenal Women will play six of their Barclays Women's Super League fixtures as well as their domestic cup ties at the Emirates Stadium this season.

The move to the 60,000-seater stadium is a significant upgrade for the team, who have previously played their home games at Meadow Park in Borehamwood.

"We are delighted to be able to give our fans the opportunity to watch the team play at the Emirates Stadium," said Arsenal Women manager Jonas Eidevall. "It is a world-class stadium and will provide a fantastic atmosphere for our players and supporters."

The Emirates Stadium has undergone a number of renovations in recent years, including the installation of new seats and a new state-of-the-art video scoreboard.

Arsenal Women have averaged a crowd of around 2,500 at Meadow Park this season. The move to the Emirates Stadium is expected to significantly boost attendance figures.

"We believe that this move will help us to continue to grow the women's game and inspire more young girls to play football," said Arsenal chief executive Vinai Venkatesham.

Arsenal Women's first home game at the Emirates Stadium is against Brighton & Hove Albion on September 25.

Conclusion

The move to the Emirates Stadium is a major step forward for Arsenal Women and the women's game in general. It will provide the team with a world-class stadium to play in and will help to attract more fans to the sport.
