The Thankful Tree: A Creative Way to Express Gratitude

Coloring the Thankful Tree

As Thanksgiving approaches, it's a time to reflect on all the things we're grateful for. This year, why not express your gratitude in a creative way with the Thankful Tree?

To create your own Thankful Tree, you'll need orange, red, and dark brown markers from the Tombow 1500 collection. These earthy tones symbolize the traditional colors of Thanksgiving: brown for the turkey, orange for the pumpkins, and dark brown for the cornucopia.

Instructions

1. Draw a large tree trunk on a piece of paper.
2. Color the trunk dark brown using the Tombow 1500 marker.
3. Draw branches extending out from the trunk.
4. Color the branches red using the Tombow 1500 marker.
5. Draw leaves on the branches.
6. Color the leaves orange using the Tombow 1500 marker.
7. Once you're finished coloring the tree, write "I am thankful for..." on a piece of paper and cut it out.
8. Tape or glue the paper to the trunk of the tree.
9. Write what you're thankful for on the paper.
10. Hang your Thankful Tree in a prominent place in your home.

The Thankful Tree is a beautiful and meaningful way to express your gratitude. It's also a fun and easy project that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
