Tim Couch Set for Sept. 14 NFF Hall of Fame On-Campus Salute

Wildcats’ 1998 Heisman Trophy runner-up to be feted at College GameDay

Event to be held the morning of Kentucky’s season opener against Miami (Ohio)

University of Kentucky and National Football Foundation (NFF) officials announced Tuesday that former Wildcats great Tim Couch will be honored during an on-campus NFF Hall of Fame Salute on Sept. 14, presented by Fidelity Investments.

The event will be held at Kroger Field at approximately 9 a.m. ET, prior to the Wildcats’ season opener against Miami (Ohio). The game is set for a noon kickoff and will be televised on the SEC Network.

Couch, a two-time All-American quarterback at Kentucky, will become the 18th Wildcat inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
